Physical Therapy Session

Fantastic. Karen came to me, which was easier for my needs, and helped with mobility and flexibility issues. She gave me a programme of exercises and demonstrated the correct form for each one to maximise effectiveness. Karen is very friendly, approachable and made the experience very comfortable and easy. I can certainly recommend and will be booking in for a follow-up soon.

Our BlueRose Home Physiotherapy Approach

We believe physiotherapy should be accessible, practical and tailored to the individual. By treating people in their own environment, we can gain a better understanding of the challenges they face day to day and develop treatment plans that support meaningful, lasting improvements.

Whether the goal is walking more confidently, reducing the risk of falls, recovering after surgery, improving strength following a hospital stay, or maintaining independence at home, our physiotherapists provide treatment and support centred around what matters most to each individual.

We take the time to listen, understand your goals and build a realistic plan that fits your needs, lifestyle and circumstances.

Who Does BlueRose Healthcare Home Physiotherapy Help?

We support adults across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with a wide range of conditions and rehabilitation needs, including:

  • Recovery after hospital discharge

  • Joint replacement rehabilitation

  • Mobility and walking difficulties

  • Falls prevention and balance problems

  • Muscle weakness and deconditioning

  • Respiratory conditions

  • Neurological conditions

  • Arthritis and age-related changes

  • Long-term health conditions

  • Post-operative rehabilitation

  • General physiotherapy assessment and treatment

We also work closely with families, carers and healthcare professionals to support people who may find travelling to a clinic difficult or impractical.

My mum had a hip replacement and needed some extra help to build her strength and confidence with walking. Karen provided physiotherapy at home and tailored her rehabilitation to her needs, gradually progressing her exercises as she improved.

We have seen a lovely improvement in her mobility and independence, and she is very happy with her progress. We would highly recommend Karen she is highly skilled

Specialist Home Physiotherapy

Home physiotherapy provides more than convenience. It allows us to assess mobility, balance and function within the environment where you live every day.

This enables us to provide practical advice and rehabilitation that directly relates to your home, whether that means improving confidence on stairs, getting in and out of chairs safely, walking around the house more comfortably, or returning to activities that are important to you.

For many people recovering from illness, surgery or a fall, rehabilitation at home can provide a more comfortable, personalised and effective experience.

Supporting Healthy Ageing and Independence

A significant part of our work focuses on supporting older adults to remain active, mobile and independent.

As we age, maintaining strength, balance and confidence becomes increasingly important. Our physiotherapists help people manage the physical challenges associated with ageing, recover after illness or injury, and continue doing the activities that bring enjoyment and purpose to everyday life.

Our aim is not simply to treat symptoms but to help people live more independently and confidently for longer.
